Evening, P M: This really isn't my thing, but I'll share a little in the spirit of the Greek polis's.

Regardless of party affiliation, both have bastardized their ideals. Limbaugh is unconscionable as a licensed broadcaster and as one who came up the hard way, his cheap sensationalism leaves me staggering. One party removed the partition FDR erected to distinguish the opeations of banking and brokerage houses. Now we know why FDR had the foresight to ensure the two practices were kept separate. The other party spent money like fools. I don't mean to sound naive, but I'm not into labels or hate bashing. Yet both parties are deeply entrenched in this stuff. It is unproductive. I wish we would focus on shared values--and there are plenty. I would like to see true transparency and integrity. For me, both sides of the aisle need to grow up and be about the work of the people--you and me! Many salient points here, P M. The rtole of a good teacher is to make his/her students thnk and care and I believe you do this well, my friend!
