Emperical Evidence

Paul Krugman posted these on his blog.

There is something obviously wrong when a Senator gets applauded for calling the climate change which in the next twenty to fifty years will kill millions of people and cause who knows what havoc a hoax. Is the money being paid to him by corporations afraid of losing profits should we take sensible steps to halt this process really worth all this?

First, let me say "Lee Remick!" I just finished watching her with Steve McQueen in "Baby, the Rain Must Fall".

Yes-there is no doubt in my mind that we are fools for not doing smart things to save our planet. I've never quite understood why we are not using solar here in the desert and beyond? Companies would create jobs and reap profits and we would have cheaper energy that doesn't pollute. But I guess I'm just a wild idealist!

There is a fantastic amount of money to be made in converting over to greener technologies, but the corporations that have a choke hold on our government won't let those opportunities come to life.

Lee Remick had one of the most captivating faces in an era of beautiful women. Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Wood, Doris Day, Anne Margaret and many other women back then could make your heart skip a beat with just an expression.
