Go Figure

Jack LaLane passed away at age 96. I remember his fitness program on tv. Couldn't figure why people would watch on the idot box what we did in gym class.
The funny thing is, he worked out all his life and was fit as a fiddle to the day he died.
Remember George Burns the comedian? He smoked cigars, drank, played around with women. You might say the exact opposite of LaLane. He lived to the age of 100.

Jack LaLane's death is one of those I've experienced as a hurt. He was authentic. He was doing what he was supposed to be doing in life. He had a love and passion for teaching and sharing. He was an innovator who kept it simple and real and never forgot who his audience was. God Bless him. My condolences go out to his wife, Elaine. Another fabric of America gone.

And he always seemed to me genuinely nice. He was quite a legend--fitness everyday. So far ahead of his time. I enjoyed Jack LaLane. God Bless him.
