Wii Tired

  • Thought I'd post a picture by Rembrandt, not every artist has a toothpaste named after him. This one has the artist with a bust of Aristotle.
  • The Wii game is giving Grinnygranny and me much more exercise than we're used to getting. Our muscles are letting us know about it.
  • I'm hoping the weather holds up and either tomorrow or Monday I'll be able to get in a nice round of golf.
  • It is amazing all the criticism Obama is getting and he hasn't even been sworn in yet. AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED IF YOU WERE A BUSH CHEERLEADER, SHUT UP, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH ABOUT ANYTHING.
  • Nice to get that off my chest.
  • If you are one of us long suffering Democrats that have been waiting eight years for this nightmare to end.  GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE!

I think it is noteworthy that my former colleagues in Media neglected to run the full Victory Speech and Obama's warm comments about John McCain, nor Obama's comments that he always thought President Bush was always a good guy. But of course this doesn't sell newspapers and the subject of Coexisting doesn't appear to be popular. Granted, the Press has quoted McCain as saying: "He is my President and I will support him". Locally here, McCain telephoned Janet Napolitano and said "Not only will you be excellent in your role in Homeland Security, but I am going to do everything in my power to speed through your nomination". Do I miss doing the news? Nah!

I'll feel the same way once I retire from teaching.
