A lot of great names here! I need to read more Heinlein..so far I've only read Starship Troopers & The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Do you have a favorite of his novels?

Stephen, Stranger in a Strange Land. If you haven't read that one you've missed out your whole life. He went off the deep end with Time Enough For Love.

Thanks! That one seems to be fairly popular.

That's a pretty good list. I remember Clavell. and I have never read any Mickey Spillane- I bet that would be interesting.

I really miss James Michener. His books were very educational, entertaining, and accessible.

I loved Tom Clancy until he get repetitive.

Isaac Asimov was another favorite. I never read his fiction but his science based books were great.

Nice that we have so much in common in literature, Yogi. Clancy started using his name and ghost writers.
